The great thing is, you're connecting different things and are treating 'sucking' and 'unlucky' as a package deal, like one somehow contradicts the other. You said he sucked. I never denied it. What I have provided is a possible explanation for his suckitude, and reasons why I think it will right itself. Understand?

I suggested trading one f***ing starter, and we would have 7 starters left if Penny was traded and Dice-K went down to injury or incompetence. So 3/5 of our rotation would have to go down before we're short on capable arms, and if 60% of our rotation is sidelined I doubt we're in the best of shape with or without Penny anyway.
