Ridiculous bullpen. Absolutely ridiculous. There isn't a player in that bullpen that we need to even be scared when they come in. There isn't a player in that bullpen you don't want to see in the 8th with a 1 run lead. Just incredible.

Beckett dominated. Burnett was lit up. Actually turned out to be a good matchup to get one out of our system, cause nobody was beating Beckett tonight.

6 and 0 against the Yankees. Solid. Some of those games have been heartbreaking losses for the Yankees like the Youkilis walk-off game. Most have just been bitch-slapping beat downs like tonight. I don't know which I prefer. I am disappointed that Gom and Jackson were almost entirely absent from tonight after have been so ecstatic while beating up on the weak sisters in the league. When it came time to sack up when their team was playing against the big boys, they hid like girls. (My apologies to the ladies on this forum.) Jackson managed some weak comment about how it was good to get a game like this out of their system, because no one was going to beat Beckett tonight. That was weak and definitely not solid. I am sure that they will be lurking around tomorrow night and they'll be posting if Wang gets through 3 innings.

 

I am curious to see if Ortiz can go deep in back to back games. He has hit some tape measure shots off Wang.

Ortiz had a good weekend and last nite he got the game winning RBI, going long last night was tuff due to the rain wind and low cloud cover, not a night for homeruns.

God help the rest of the league if we can get him back to 75% of where he was.

Becks was solid and now has put together 5 weeks of domination and tonight Wang Tung comes to the fens....boooooooooyah...every body wang tung tonight.

He got annilihated in his last start and still managed to cut his era in half.

And whats with Burnett?..What happened to his ahh dominance and painting the corners and bringing the high cheese and keeping the sox off balance?

This is the guy who frightened me just like Carl Pavano did in 05, hasnt Pavano won more games in Cleveland in the last 2 months than he did in his illustrious 4 years in NY?
