So, the ump is basically a dick for changing his strike zone completely in the 9th after the Lowell incident. What a bitch.

Beckett has been awesome for like 4-5 starts in a row. If he keeps this up and Lester gets back to form (and he looked great in his last start), the Sox will be in good shape.

So I turned the game off the enjoy dinner w/my mum, thinking there was no way we'd lose that game...then I watched the last bit later, and shook my head.

 

We didn't lose, but only because of the 6-run inning...and that error filled inning was kinda embarrassing. I mean, you expect some fielding errors from Green/Lugo, but the others?

 

Oh well...we still won...and I still like the new early lineup.
