Well, what the hell is Tito supposed to do? In reality, this team has fared really well and overcome a ton of problems. Our rotation is ranked dead last in the majors (ERA), Ortiz is still homerless, Tek isn't hitting (although the power is there), Pedroia, Youk, Lugo, and Lowrie have all been out for extended time due to injuries. We are very lucky to have the 2nd best record in the AL.

The ironic thing is that the 7-9 of FAIL is usually in the middle of the important rallies.

 

Take last night, for instance, it was a Nick Green single that got the 2-run game-tying rally going, and it was 'Tek who hit the tie-breaking double against Scot Shields (who happens to own the Cap btw), but that's just the awesomeness of the Sox, every ballplayer who embraces their philosophy is useful no matter how sucky they look (Yes, even Lugo).

On a side note, I for one didn't like the warning last night after Masterson threw behind Hunter. I can understand if it was intentional, but it clearly was not. I don't think umpires should take away the inside of the plate just because of a hit batsman or 2.
