Good to see things running smoothly here. Celtics f***ed the pooch.

C's don't have the legs to go much further. Orlando in 6 at most.

I hope he manages the Yanks for 10 years.

For that happen, the Yanks would have to win like 5 WS in the next 10 years

btw, Michael Kay made that Swisher flyout sound like a sure dinger

No they closed it to a one possession game in the last minute or so. There were actually numerous opportunities to win that game that they didn't capitalize on, namely stupid Orlando mistakes and shot selection.

I picked the Magic before the series started, but I'm a little more optimistic after tonight.

The HP ump bet on the yankees before this game.

Either that, he's f***ing blind or he likes Posada and wants to make babies with him.

To be fair Hughes has been squeezed pretty badly tonight.

I have to go down as saying New Yankee Stadium, as beautiful as it is, sucks compared to the old one. This is like watching the Sox and Yanks at Camden Yards.. I liked hating the old 70's look. I liked the hugeness of it - this new place FEELS so much smaller. And the blue seems off to me.

I guess I just need to let it grow on me. But there's something to really be said for nostalgia. And Fenway has it and New Yankee Stadium has nothing yet. I'm also officially on the bandwagon of save Fenway for as long as humanely possible.

I would have much rather seen a renovation of the old Yankee Stadium over 10 years ( like the Sox/Fenway one ) than this plastic new car smell type place.

The '76 - '08 stadium had nostalgia? It was a poor replacement for the original stadium.
