They really should take a tackle, Curry's good but not the answer either.

Thing is, Lions fans won't go for that after an 0-16 season, they need a sexy pick.

Ya Smith would be a solid pick.

Detroit has had plenty of "Sexy" picks and look where it's got them. I still like next years QB class better. Beside Daunte will be at the helm this season anyways.

Here's a thought, everyone is looking at the #8 pick as the trade up spot if Sanchez is available. With multiple teams trying to get that pick(if that scenario plays out), you would think someone would try and slip up to #7. Oakland looks like they want Maclin,a nd if they trade down they more then likely could still get him later on in the 1st round, while also collecting more picks.

Up to $78M possible. Holy s***.

A precedent is being set. The first overall pick isn't looking so sexy anymore, especially with what Matty Ice got at #3 last year.

It will be changed in the new collective bargaining agreement is sorted out.

Should be fun! Too bad the sox/yanks wasn't a 1:00 game so I wouldn't have to flip back and forth....although not a terrible problem to have

The Sanchez pick was a good one. The Jets really, really, really, really needed to develop a franchise QB. Their last homegrown "franchise" QB was Pennington who had no arm and before that you need to find the average Kenny O'Brien in the late 80s early 90s. Sanchez is EXACTLY what you need in NY. He doesnt have the best arm, but it can throw laps around Pennington's. He is accurate. He's used to the limelight. And he is efficient and makes good decisions. And what did they give up? They move up 16 spots or so and lose a 2nd rounder. They also had to give up 3 players who certainly arent dealbreakers. This was a big time need. Especially after not moving up to draft Quinn a couple yrs back.

The Patriots traded the 26th overall pick and the and the fifth-round pick they acquired earlier today (162) and received pick 41 (second round), pick 72 (third round) and pick 83 (third round), according to the team's Twitter page.

This gives the Patriots 13 overall selections in this year's draft.

Patrick Chung is a great pick. He's definitely a Belichick guy, has great leadership skills. The Pats weakness has been the secondary for quite a while and I just hope that they can finally settle things down.

I don't know much about Butler and Brace.
