Wow what the f*** Drew actually swing the bat once.

Why did we throw Okajima all he has done is get his s*** rocked. Why not Saito!

Motherf***er makes a one pitch out in the 8th after Shields walked the first two, then he looks at three with the tying run in scoring position. No f***ing head for the game.

No argument, inexcusable for him.

Terrible loss. Where was Saito for Guerrero?

Missed the game because of family stuff' date=' anyone care to give me a quick synopsis. How did Beckett look?[/quote']

Beckett was meh. Benches cleared in the 1st because of a "pitch" Beckett threw near Abreu's head after he called time late. Sox got 2 runs off Youk/Drew HRs in the 2nd, Sox never led after they gave that up. Offense was miserable with RISP especially in the 8th.

8th inning against Shields was a killer. After walking the first two batters and showing no command, Drew swings at the first pitch, doesn't get around on it and pops out. Then Lowell swings at a 2-0 pitch and fouls out to third. What a botched inning!!

BTW I guess Chris Carter is going to rot on the bench. There were at least two opportunities for him to PH, Tito sat on his hands.

That's why he's called Francoma. When he uses his bench, it's only to rest a starter for a full game. There are very few tactical decisions he makes.

It is early yes but the hits arent coming for most of the lineup. Youk by far has been the best hitter, 12 for 23 start. The rest of the hitters? 36 for 175 (.206)

The top 3 of the order is a combined 13 for 68 (.191)

I read somewhere the team was batting .242 with 5 HRs after six games last year and after six games this year, the team is batting .242 with 8 HRs

1: 6 games in

2: NFW Pedroia in particular stays this cold

3: This is a fluke

4: We've been in every game so far (all 6) so I wouldn't call it a crisis as much as bad luck and poor execution of individual chances.
