Hahaha, I love Joba!

Like I said, just a matter of time before he starts pitching down to his peripherals.

Nice catch Jete! He looked like Luis Castillo out there. Leave it to the Angels to make the Yankees look like the Mets.

Brian Bruney everybody!

What was it that Wacko Jacko just said about bullpens "falling back to earth?"

We'd been playing at such a high level, sometimes games like these happen. Joba cruises along until ARod errs in the 5th and then he falls apart. Jeter errs and Bruney falls apart. It certainly is disappointing

I'm nearly certain you pulled at least 3 or 4 muscles attempting such difficult back-patting maneuvers.

It was inevitable that the Yankees would come back down to earth, winning 13 out of 15 games is obviously overperforming This is more like them. Their starter pitched down to their peripherals rather than being an escape artist the entire game, and the Yankees bullpen pitched like it has most of the year rather than being lights out.

I believe it was you who said that a team's never as good as they look when they're on a hot streak.

The Angels only good starter takes the hill today against a Yankees pitcher not named Sabathia. Let's see if the Angels can pull off the series win.

It'd be awesome.

Yeah, it would be great if the Yankees played their best baseball of the year leading up to the All-Star break and then they lost their last series and ended up a couple games back regardless.

Yankees are up 2-0 and Pettitte walks the leadoff hitter. Their pitchers not named Sabathia or Rivera are pretty mediocre this year.
