I thought it was a great decision to start Aceves. He was looking great out of the bullpen going multiple innings and he did well as a starter last year. It's better than throwing some AAA pitcher out there.

Have to think about the games ahead of you. And besides his last outing, he wasn't even pitching three innings out of the pen.

The thing is, if you start some AAA pitcher what are the chances that they give you length either? Hindsight is 20/20.

You can send him out there and just let him eat innings. And you don't have to believe me, but I felt the same way before he started.

Alright, it's a legitimate complaint then. I just get annoyed with people saying stuff after the fact, but I believe you.

Back-to-back bases loaded walks!

5-4 Yanks

Girardi's going to live Robertson in there to Mauer? He's an idiot.

Gameday says Robertsons getting squeezed' date=' accurate?[/quote']

Yeah, to an extent. The umpire's had the same strike zone the entire game though.

He's got a nice curve' date=' but he doesn't have the fastball command to get ahead. Credit to Posada for calling that 2-1 curve.[/quote']

Yeah, I remember a Yankees fan friend of mine sending me a youtube video of Robertson's curve. Must have been 2 or 3 years ago now. He was really excited about him.

Then again, he referred to Phil Hughes, Joba Chamberlain and Ian Kennedy as Trip-Aces.

Hahahaha, Swisher's an idiot. He gets fooled on a changeup so he swings harder and gets fooled even more. Then he swings even HARDER and gets fooled even MORE on a third straight changeup and strikes out.
