Anyone over 40 years old ever worry about Bert Blyleven shutting you down?

Thats the reason he isnt in the hall, he was beatable and he got caught cheating.

I have ripped Schilling for his big mouth and self promoting but when discussing his efforts on the mound there wasnt anyone better for us with the exceptions of maybe Luis Tiant and if you want to throw babe ruth in the mix feel free..Pedro had a couple of excellent starts and becks may go down as the best ever in october but curt was the guy who came here and did it 1st...Spot on Schill

I've looked around and can't find how he cheated. Can you tell the story?

Going off memory from my childhood here, but I'm pretty sure he's thinking of Blyleven's teammate, Joe Niekro, who got caught by the TV camera trying to throw away an emory board when asked to empty his pockets by the ump.
