Anyone else planning on venturing to the WBC??

I've got my spring break falling right on the first pools of WBC play, so I'm heading up to Toronto for a little Pool C action featuring USA, Canada, Italy, and Venezuela (faaaack you Johan for not playing)...

 

Tickets are relatively cheap, so I'm pretty excited to head up there.

I was planning on going up to Toronto for a few games, but the money I had saved for that now has to go to a new car, unfortunately. There's always 2013 I suppose.

Yep I'll be there its right close to home seeing as how I live in Toronto and it's at the Rogers Centre this year already got my tickets to all 6 games in the first round and I can't wait until it starts.

Let me know asap. Like I said I'm trying to move tickets for the games on the 9th, 10th, and 11th which is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday respectively. Seats are in the upper deck behind home plate. Not very expensive either.

I'm not even sure I'm getting them from someone as sort of a gift. I'll find out all the information, all he told me was upper deck behind home plate.

 

If they are though would you still be interested? I'm not looking to rape anyone on prices or anything, just sell the tickets to the games I cant go to.

Yeah, we're gonna be finalizing our plans within the next few days hopefully if we don't continue to procrastinate (we wanted a hotel booked by last wednesday, oops)... so I'll be in touch.

My ******* friend told us he had the hotel all booked, then we come to find out 2 days before we were supposed to leave that he never did it and he just got lazy and didn't feel like listening to us. Saved myself about a grand in money but I'm pretty pissed I'm not up there.

Yeahh boyy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy Italy won. I didn't get to see it, but I'm thrilled. Hoping they can upset Venezuela and at least advance a round, which won't be easy after losing their first meeting 7-0.

I've actually got quite caught up in the whole WBC thing.

 

I'm interested in seeing if any of these "cinderella" teams will make it out of the first round (Netherlands, Italy, Australia).

 

Speaking of Australia--they beat Mexico 17-7. Yikes.

Although Italy didn't beat Venezuela, I'm thrilled that the Dutch got past the DR not once, but twice!

 

If I were them I would have had a major league blunt session in the clubhouse. s***, who needs bubbly when you can celebrate bluntly.

 

I wonder if all the Dutch territories such as Aruba and Netherland Antilles practice the same Marijuana tolerance as in Holland. Oh well, I didn't mean to digress, just a thought I had.
