i dont mind this. i understand the risk/timlin factor, but im all for countries going all in on the WBC. and how about that Yu Darvish?

I wish they could figure out a way to make the WBC important. find a time of year everyone can participate and not be paranoid of injury. it'd be real fascinating to see all these countries on their A-game, sorta like the FIFA world cup.

I've actually got quite caught up in the whole WBC thing. I'm interested in seeing if any of these "cinderella" teams will make it out of the first round (Netherlands, Italy, Australia). Speaking of Australia--they beat Mexico 17-7. Yikes. -
