Who are you rooting for in the AFC playoffs? As a follow up, who is your pick to win the AFC?

I'm rooting for the Miami Dolphins - incredible turnaround, incredible coaching job, home game in the playoffs. Ten game swing from last season.

My pick to win the AFC? Baltimore. If Roethlisberger isn't right from his concussion and if the Titans D-Line isn't healthy, I don't think there is another team who has the balance of offense and defense that the Ravens do. Bit of an upset pick, but I like the Ravens to roll this weekend and then beat the Titans next week. I see a lot of parallels between this team and the Steelers team that won the Super Bowl a few years back.

I think Tennessee will win the division. The Titans are legit. They have a great running game, and Collins can stretch the field when necessary. They crushed Pittsburgh on both sides of the ball, and will have the benefit of playing in Tennessee.

I'm pulling for the Dolphins, though. I'm going to try to go to the Dolphins game this weekend.

Rooting for Miami (how couldn't you).

My pick to win the AFC was Pittsburgh before today and Ben's injury. I don't know who will win it now. I like Baltimore, they remind of the mid-decade Steelers quite a bit, I might go with them.

Tomorrow's Game:

Indianapolis @ San Diego (PK)

Anyone but the Chargers. Anyone but the Chargers. This must be exactly what the Colts must be thinking. Even though the Colts have won 9 straight, you'd be hard pressed to find a team with more momentum than the Chargers, winners of four straight and who stole the division from under the Broncos' nose with the beatdown they gave them last week. The Chargers upset the Colts in last year's playoffs but are missing one key ingredient. Shawne Merriman.

The Colts will rely on the newly crowned MVP to lead them past the Chargers. I expect this to be a very close game, but with a lot of points scored. In the end, the Chargers defense will be the one who blinks and the Colts will win.

Pick - Colts 38, Chargers 31

Sunday's Game:

Baltimore (-3.5) @ Miami

Miami is the story of the year, no question. One win last season, to a division crown, and they have the MVP runner-up quarterbacking their team. The Wildcat, along with other examples of innovative playcalling, has allowed a team with less talent than many expected to be one of the most fundamentally sound football teams in the league. They committed a league low 13 turnovers this season and need to have more of the same if they want to win on Sunday.

Aside from Matt Ryan, the other rookie QB in this playoffs who has a great chance to make a name for himself is Joe Flacco. I get such a 2005 Steelers vibe off of this team it isn't even funny. Young, untested QB who relies on a playmaking defense to carry the team along with a solid running game. I think the Ravens will win this game fairly easily, as their defense will force the Dolphins into some turnovers and they will pound the ball all game long. Ravens will pull away in the 4th quarter.

Pick - Ravens 24, Dolphins 13

Scifres is a god -- I've never seen a punter have such a huge impact on a football game. Hope the Colts can close this one out!

I thought the KO return at the end of the 1st half was fumbled. Now that call looms huge since SD can only tie it if Kaeding makes this....

and he does.

I think SD got jobbed a little. They get at least a FG out of that to close the 1st half.

Colts really blew that one with all of the penalties.

I really didn't like that holding call on Jennings, though. It was the right call, but I think that five yard rule is terrible. That's great coverage in my book.

cant wait to see the fish game today.....hope its a beauty...

I stoked too. They just gave me the day off from work so I'll get to enjoy football all day :D. I think (and hope) Baltimore wins this one.
