I'm sorry, but all I have to go on is your post history on the topic of Manny Ramirez (and you username). You were vehemently against any trade proposal at any point of any season no matter what Manny did (or didn't) do on the baseball field. You were against the trade for Bay. You would hear no criticisms of the guy you loved, valid or not.

I was againist it at the time because he was raking this season. I was against it because I didnt think any player could replace his protection against David Ortiz. Admitidly I was wrong, but honestly can you blame me? The guy was so good for so long. However, the point of my comment had nothing to do with Jason Bay. He wasnt even in my mind. I was just pointing out the fact how much things have changed with Pedroia, and Youk in the 3/4, as compared to a healthy Ortiz/Ramirez which was damn fun to watch for 5+ seasons.

He's getting worked. Finally threw a splitter, at 2-0, dumbass. He needs to get put in his place. His big head has him in love with his FB. That splitter needs to constantly be in the back of the hitter's mind, and when you don't throw it, AAAA drek like Dan Johnson can ride the heat out of the deepest part of the park. Unfortunately, it'll probably take an epic tragedy, like blowing game 7 of the WS to get him to think about it.

Either way I think its a bad call he has pitched 4 outs yesterday and I believe a game before that too or something. He can't go every night and they could have brought in Masterson to get the save.

 

Now Paps can't pitch tomorrow most likely if it is a close game.
