Jets have a good chance as any to take the divsion if Cassel is the starter for the majority of the season. Hell they will be a no brainer

Doesn't look good....WEEI is speculating (although Smerlas and Shepherd think they are pretty sure) that it's stretched ligaments and 4-6 weeks out.

At least our next 3 games are relative cupcakes too, so we won't get completely pummeled. Next week at Jets is looking a lot tougher though.

Yahoo Sports' Michael Silver says Tom Brady is expected to miss the rest of the season with ligament damage in his knee.

 

Two sources tell Silver that Brady has a "severe" knee injury that "could" include a torn ACL and perhaps other ligament and cartilage damage. "It’s bad," a team source said told Silver. "We’re going to have to play without him." Silver is one of the best NFL reporters alive, and you have to trust him here. Fantasy owners should not make a move with Brady until it's confirmed elsewhere though. Obviously, it's devastating news for the entire Patriots offense.

 

4-6 weeks could be a pipe dream for you guys

the Patriots aren't my favorite team, in fact I don't really like them but it's a shame what happened to Brady. I'm a football fan first and foremost and I like to see the game's best healthy enough to play at their best
