The second the Bills ran it to the outside I called they were going to miss that. There was no need for them to run to the outside because it wasn't that critical that they picked up the first down. Keep it centered' date=' and they win.[/quote']

Don't you just love when coaches mismanage the game like that?

And yeah, Braylon Edwards' confidence must be shot. I don't believe he's ever had a problem catching the ball until this year. Could be wrong, though.

Us Pats fans aren't used to that, because Belichick is really good at managing minor situations like that which could change a game. We got a small dose of that vs. Indy where he had some mismanagements, but I feel extremely lucky to not have to deal with stupid little things from week to week, and know that they're under control for the most part.

If anyone cares, Goodell is doing an interview with Jim Rome on ESPN coming up shortly. I haven't seen him do an interview like this before, so should be interesting.

Nothing really came out of the interview with Goodell:

-Looking into Pacman now

-Not going to change OT rule

-May have Comp com look into tie games rule, but doesn't expect it to change

-Surprised McNabb didn't know tie rule

-Safety is #1...responding to Palamalu

-Vick has paid a heavy price, fans may welcome him back depending upon his attitude and if he deals

with what he's done correctly

-Would like ot put an NFL franchise in London

-Is in favor of converting the last 2 pre-season games into regular making it an 18 game season

Would like ot put an NFL franchise in London

Would have to rename the league. Good bye, NFL, hello, IFL.

Wouldn't object to a European division, but one lonely NFL franchise across the Atlantic would be doomed.

That's true. edit: Just realized my first example was a s***** one.

Expos used to play in the National League! (That's better!)

No way they would change.

I'm still undecided on whether or not I'd like to see any of the Major Sports leagues expand overseas. It could be very cool.

West coast teams with a London away game wouldn't like it, even if it was around there bye week. East coast to London isn't much different than East Coast to West Coast, but other than that it's a logistical problem.

Bucs fell behind 17-0 after the first, but they have beat the living f*** out of Detroit since then. 35 unanswered, Daunte Culpepper's been replaced by Drew Stanton. They are truly terrible.

Jets looking like they'll hand the Titans their first loss.

Patriots up on Miami by a field goal, late in the third quarter.

Cowboys, Bills, and Bears all owning their respective games.

Wow' date=' Denver sucks.[/quote']

They move the ball at will and then make stupid mistakes. A lot of could be catches that don't technically go as drops, but were dropped.

Shanahan's playcalling to end the half was a joke. You think he'd have learned after he made the same f***ing mistake against Cleveland.

The Broncos have been crushed by injuries though. Hell, they have an undrafted rookie FB getting the majority of reps at running back. Though I can't complain too much since Hillis is awesome.

By the way, Roughing the Passer calls are getting ridiculous in the NFL.

He wasn't drafted? I thought sure he was. Hillis was so mis-used in college. He could've been much more involved in the offense than he really was. He was a BEAST in HS too.

You're actually right, now that I look into it. 7th round, though. Could've sworn we had signed him as an undrafted rookie.

Jay Cutler kind of sucks. The only thing worse than Cutler's decision making is Mike Shanahan's play-calling.

It's their fault for not winning in Tennessee, against Atlanta, or against Minnesota.

Win ONE of those games and they'd be in the driver's seat for the division.
