-3 rushing yards and they're still having a great game...

That defense of theirs is amazing, and you can count on Kerry Collins not to lose football games -- and he's capable of carrying the team to a win every once in a while, like today. They've only given up 21 points once, and that was thanks to a garbage time TD against the Colts. Being able to win football games when your strength, offensively at least, is neutralized/eliminated is the sign of a good football team.

I absolutely agree about the Titans, that's how the Patriots were successful in 01, 03, and 04.

I'd even go as far as to say that is the Pats right now as well. They're somehow 6-3 with all of the improbable injuries, but they're still winning these games. They were a gaffe from Gaffe-ney and a bonehead play from Thomas away from being 7-2 right now. Masterful job by Belichick.

If you told me before the season that the Patriots would be 6-3 without Brady, Maroney, Morris, Harrison, etc., I would have been ecstatic.

That Chicago team really looked good today too. They desperately a star QB to build around because it's obvious that Grossman isn't a starter in this league, and Orton is a middle of the pack guy.

I want to know whats in the water they're drinking down in Miami though. They've won 5 of 7, Pennington has been awesome, Brown and Williams compliment each other well and present a great dual-back system, Ginn Jr is finally playing, and Camarillo looks like a poor mans Wes Welker.

I would tend to think it's the coach. When they won that game over the Patriots using the wildcat formation, it seemed to light a fire under the team. I don't think they were a 1-15 football team last year -- I mean, technically they were, obviously, but they lost some close ones. Cam Cameron just made for a s***** head coach. This is such a crazy league... it's impossible to tell who's good.

Not too long ago the Bills looked like a good team, and the Jets and Pats looked like s***... now? Other way around. And you can say the same about a lot of teams.

Kansas City Chiefs = joke.

Down 20-13, get the TD, and go for 2 for whatever reason.

Stupid, stupid.

I actually liked the decision. It's about time somebody other than Shanahan showed some balls in this league. Herm's got nothing to lose... gonna be fired anyway.

That said... the Chiefs odds of winning the coin toss were 50%, the same as their odds of converting that play.

I'd put their odds of winning in OT, regardless of whether they won or loss the toss, at about 25%.

The Chiefs went for two' date=' up 13-6 in the 2nd quarter. They should have won this game.[/quote']

I saw the replay and that was actually a botched snap. They were lined up for the PAT. I don't think going for 2 at the end of the game was really that bad of a decision either. The playcall could've been better, but when you're that bad you might as well take the chance.

I agree, I liked the decision more and more as time went on after I had made that post.

They're 1-8 and might as well have tried to make something happen.
