The Gmen just showed that they are the best team in football. The Steelers were dominated and it took 2 broken plays for them to make this thing look close. 4 red zone opps by the giants to none by the Steelers with Ben hitting the dirt half the time he dropped back was impressive. Spagnuolo should get a massive raise and a guarantee of the head coach job when Coughlin retires. His schemes were awesome and the beasts on the front line were money

Didn't Spags already get a raise after last year?

I used to give my Jets thoughts, why not slide back into that action.

The Jets could be good but their not going that way. Their 4 wins are vs Mia, Arizona, Cinn, and KC all s***** teams and their losses are against Matt Cassels first game Patriots, 0-3 at the time Chargers and s***** Raiders, they've sucked this far.

They need to have one big game at the Bills this upcoming week to make a statement because I feel its not unlikely that the East homes 3 Playoff teams, not that hard at all, but if the Jets keep playing down to teams levels and then losing based off those levels, then their just shooting themselves in the foot. If they can get their playcalling up from 's*****'(where its at now), to 'acceptable' then I have no doubt Favre will be able to pull through in his unsure-sore condition to lead us to the play offs. But they need to get it together now, because I believe their next 5 games are @ Buffalo, vs Rams, @ NE, @ Tenn, and vs Broncos........ouch.

Titans hit the upright on the gamewinning FG attempt.

Why didn't the Titans get him to the centere of the field for that kick?

edit: Titans win.

RIP 2008 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Holy crap. I don't know what happened (had to work) in this game that we got behind 21-3 to the CHIEFS but fortunately we came back to win in OT. I caught the game from OT on. Hate to look so bad like that, but I'll take a win on the road any time, especially with the Panthers and Saints having bye weeks.

Net -2 yards, no first downs, 13 total plays in the first half for the Raiders. Just win, baby!

Oh, and a big EFF EWE! to Opie Manning. Stupid **** cost me a defensive shut out thus far in FFB. BTW, that is one of the stupidest FFB loopholes, where the extra point counts against your defense and the 1 point puts you in the 1-6 scoring bracket. Just flat out dumb.

The Broncos suck. :(

I was under the impression that when the Broncos traded for Dre Bly, he was capable of covering people. How'd the man ever make the Pro Bowl?

edit: terrible offensive PI call negates a long TD by Marshall. f***.

Very disappointed in the outcome of the game yesterday...but if the Packers win the next two weeks the division is in their control.

I thought they played well for about 85% of the game, the Rodgers fumble deep in the GB end was inexcusable, though.

Congrats Bengals' date=' 1-7.[/quote']

How disappointing are the Jags? Some had them as Super Bowl contenders pre-season and at least a lock for the playoffs, now they aren't even going to make it. I think I saw where they play at Detroit next week. If that's correct, could the Lions maybe, just maybe... win a game?

DeAngelo Hall signs with the Redskins

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3688600

Even though DeAngelo Hall wanted to take the weekend to consider 15 or more scenarios for a new team, the cornerback decided Friday to accept a one-year deal from the Washington Redskins, according to his agent, Joel Segal.

According to a source, Hall agreed to a one-year deal that is worth $492,000 for the remainder of the season.

The Raiders released Hall on Wednesday, eight games into a seven-year, $72 million contract.

He walked away with $8 million this year and a chance to sign with a new team.

The New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers were among the teams most active in trying to recruit Hall.
