Bucs are 3-1. Probably should be 4-0, but Matt McCoy f***ed us pretty good in the New Orleans game (no Quincy Black, no Geno Hayes, Matt Muthaf***in McCoy; thanks Gruden!). Denver's gonna be a pain in the ass though.

The NFC East has yet to lose outside of the division. Green Bay has a chance to change that.

4 best teams in the NFC. Its debatable. The Giants are shocking me more than anyone. They lost both starting DEs from last year (DEs are essential to their defensive scheme), two good linebackers, a nasty safety, and they're a better team this year than they were last year. Eli's tearing s*** up. The Giants are the one team I've really misjudged thus far.

Eh, I didn't really expect to win that one anyway. We've sucked against New Orleans over the years.

I'll take 3-1 though. The key was the comeback win at Chicago. That was huge. Sunday @ Denver is gonna be tough.

I'm not liking that matchup. Denver's got a nasty aerial assault, with Cutler throwing to Marshall, Royal, and Jackson (and Scheffler if you want to count TEs). Our secondary is more suited to tough, physical teams like Chicago than aggressive teams like Denver. Ronde's age just scares me now. All aging cornerbacks scare me.

Too bad the Saints won't even win their own division' date=' much less make the NFC championship.[/quote']

LOL.. agreed.

They suck

You guys really think Tampa is going to win the NFC South? Don't see it. Not with Griese at the helm. He's had 7 turnovers the last 2 games. That's Griese, I can see that, or something similar, continuing. They won both games. I don't see the winning continuing if they are turning it over like that.

I do think the Bucs will win the South. Griese does scare me though. A lot.

If not Tampa then Carolina will. I just can't see New Orleans winning it.

Well, he won't turn it over against the Broncos.

... ugh, our defense sucks. :(

That'll be a double gut punch if he plays a clean game against them this weekend. The first because he turned it over so regularly for the Broncos when he was on the team. The second because it does mean the defense is that bad. Ouch.

For sure. The Brian Griese days seem like forever ago. He wasn't the worst QB ever, but having to fill Elway's shoes did him in, though I guess his numbers are as "good" as they were because of how much talent he had around him. I remember his second season as the starter was great, then he suffered an injury against the Raiders and was never the same after that.

Against this Broncos defense... he might finally show those Elway-esque flashes we expected from him.

Especially if he flings it 67 times like he did at Chicago 2 weeks ago.

After all the offseason hoopla about Favre and Rodgers for the Packers, then Rodgers showing he's a capable replacement, and the scare about Rodgers having a significant injury, one would think a real big priority would have been protecting Rodgers today. How does he get sacked on their first offensive play? Strange.

No, he'll throw 3 INT's. Earnest Graham will run for 300 yards, though.

Wildcat!

Two weeks ago it had NE off balance, and now it's doing the same to SD. Imagine if they had an athlete at QB who was actually a threat to be a target downfield.

How did the Broncos lose to the Chiefs?

Probably overlooked them. The real killer was the four turnovers. The fumble by Marshall being the biggest one... went from the Broncos up one, driving down the field, the the Chiefs having the ball inside the five yard line.

They'll be fine today. They're not a playoff team -- skill-wise, though the easy schedule might get them in -- but they should be able to beat Tampa Bay.

Philly doesn't allow a lot to TEs, Cooley has not been a target in Zorn's offense, so I start Fasano this week. Cooley is 8-109 with a TD. Fasano is 2-27 with nothing. Dontcha love FFB?

Oh, well, I'm not really upset because that puts my team ahead. If they can be done on the road in the division sitting at 4-1, I'll be stoked.

Yeah, but here go the Dolphins giving this game up. First the ball skills on the kid who was covering Vincent Jackson downfield are nonexistant, now Davone Bess fumbles a kick return...

Young mistake. The athletic move to avoid a tackler made him compromise ball control, and that was a hell of a play by Hester. My guess he will be seen around Dolphins camp with an oblong leather ward next week.

Stuffed. Nice shot of Norv afterwards.

Missed the shot of Norv, but I'm sure I've seen it before, like... a lot in the AFC Championship game last year.

Way to step up by Miami's D... can't blame the decision to go for it. Wow, I've never seen a QB trip over his lineman in the endzone. Nice recovery by Pennington.

Bad Pass Interference call here if it stands up. Didn't look catchable, in my opinion.
