I'd replace Lowrie with Lugo, because he's not going to be back when Ortiz is back. I also expect Ellsbury to continue to bat at the top of the lineup. Not that it's the correct choice.

 

To add, the rotation features four pitchers with ERA's under 4.00, and the combo of Masterson, Colon, Pauley, and Buchholz has added a 4.01 ERA.

 

Masterson is going to be a big arm out of the pen, and Colon can help as well. That's not even mentioning the fact that the Red Sox can go add another arm with that deep farm system at their disposal.

 

This is shaping up to be a good second half.

You need to see more of this site than the game threads. Crespo's mocking you won't make the mods bat an eyelash. Did you report it with righteous indignation?

 

It appears you are a bit sensitive to taunts. I would suggest that you don't continue to post "I told you so" posts about the offense when they are in the middle of a rough patch. When they do struggle for a short stretch, you are certain to appear and pat yourself on the back for having the foresight to anticipate this. This puts a big target on your back. Especially when the fact remains that, viewed on the season as a whole, this is one of the best offenses in the game (even while missing Ortiz for over a month). It makes ridiculing you quite easy.

 

In short, if you don't like being taunted, stop giving people reasons.

I am not referring to taunts. I find it that some people are not open to others opinion and they have an odd way to express it here. That is fine by me. I do not however want anyone to 'fake' my post. That is really very offensive in nature. Put yourself in my shoe ORS - if someone posts a message as if you are posting it and puts a complete idiotic message under your name that you never said or you would never have said - how would you feel about it? Just give me an honest answer.
