51 pitches for Lester through 5 1/3 innings... just what the Doctor ordered.

 

My co-worker that is at the game tonight (Yankee fan that paid $400 for two outfield seats) was of the opinion that it would come down to a bullpen battle. I suppose that if Lester can go seven that we stand a better chance of winning that type of battle?

I never paid so much - did he use stubhub and is it lower level?

 

Generally Craigs list gives you pretty good deal. I always meet the guys somewhere in the city and exchange cash and ticket.

I honestly don't know where he bought. He never told me what he paid, but his wife (going to the game with him) also works with us and she was telling us how much he spent. She was less than happy. Tonight I imagine that he is less than happy, plus now I hear it's raining?

When Sox were in Phillies - someone sold me a $40 ticket for $45 ( first base lower label) outside the stadium. She paid $100 for her tickets + shipping.

 

Stubhub is for suckers.

What a play by Drew! He gets back to the wall just as the ball comes down aqnd basically puts his glove between the wall and the ball at the last split second.

Why would we pitch our closer in a 7-0 game?

 

I think he has not pitched for a while - only reason.

 

Edit - Also I trust no one else in the bull-pen. So not only reason.
