Although he made an out' date=' Pedroia may have finished Bedard's afternoon. He's up over 100 pitches.[/quote']

As you speculated, Bedard is done.

Let's see how the tired Seattle bullpen can do.

How does one walk Sexson? Not only does he swing often and suck at doing it for the most part, but he's got the biggest strikezone in the game.

You really have to like what we have been seeing recently from Hansen. He had some nervousness in some of his earlier pressure situations, but i think he is over that hump and has confidence in himself now. You knew he had the stuff, but until recently you had to wonder about his mental toughness. I think he has been showing that he has something in his belly.

I'd like to see a bomb by Moss this inning.

Three pitches two outs. That's good. I did n't like reading about that nerve condition in his elbow. If he gets a little rest maybe it calms down. That ball hit by Sexson is probably in the second deck of the Bed pan in the Bronx.

CB Bucknor behind home plate.

We are f***ed. Bucknor is, by far, the worst umpire in MLB, and he doesn't like the Boston Red Sox.

Did you like that sprint he took to 1st base when Manny called timeout?

so ive been away in the dominican republic for a week and have been reduced to looking at box scores all week. the one question I have coming is....when the hell did Craig Hansen become a dependable reliever?!

Hansen, along with JD Drew, are unstoppable.

Is it me or did Hansen drop like 30 lbs? I feel like he used to be a pretty stocky guy, and now he looks wicked thin.

Really, his torso appears about the same, and his arms used to be rail thin. His arms appear to have developed some since coming into the system. I think the opposite is true.

Debut in Tampa (Sept of his draft year)

Hm...I guess I can't really dispute the picture. Seeing him yesterday really struck me though. Maybe I'm confusing him with Bartolo Colon? :dunno:

Sleep Apnea wrecks your metabolism. Before the surgery, he could have been eating healthy and working out and still could have put on weight. Do not underestimate the horrific effect sleep apnea had on him physically and mentally.

Masterson was amazing again. And Drew came through again in the clutch. Great game now on to the O's tmrw and Beckett's on the mound should be a good one.
