Nice. Papi smoked that. You know that Youk is looking to make up for his K' date=' maybe he can come through here[/quote']

Good hit, better catch.

s***.

5-1. Cuddyer has got a gun

Cuddyer reminds me of Dewey Evans when he throws like that.

Bases loaded, nobody out...just one run despite Youk's line drive.

Did I hear right before that Cash is hitting .360? That's almost.200 pts higher than Mirabelli had hit over the last few years.

Well the way I think about it, if Mirabelli only caught every five days for Wakefield, I'm willing to take a drop in one batter for some better defesne, especially when it involves a knuckleballer. Just my thought. We had good enough bats without Mirabelli hitting well.

Tito goes to get him after the game is lying motionless and bleeding on the canvass. 5 runs was enough. He never should have let him come out to start the inning. He waited until the Twins had put us away.

Mirabelli had passed balls too, plus he couldn't throw out Frank Thomas on a steal attempt.

Not saying Mirabelli was perfect, far from it. But in my opinion, defensively speaking, when Wakefield is on the mound, I felt less distressed if Mirabelli was behind the plate. If anything to reduce the passed balls, not so much throwing out a batter.

Another hit by Cash who was supposed to be an awful offensive player. I think that he is an upgrade over Mirabelli in all facets of the game.

I agree with this statement, though i expect Cash's offensive performance to drop signifigantly. Still, anything is better than than what Mirabelli was giving us at the dish last year

I was only hoping for .230 at the beginning of the year.

BTW The Red Sox have hit all sorts of rockets off this pitcher, but Tito let the game get away by letting Wakfield start the 3rd.

Well a big factor in this game is going to be Tavarez and we'll see how he does trying to keep it close.

But don't even worry about this game guys. We're gonna be losing by like 5 runs in the 9th. There will be an error by the catcher. A bunch of hits and Julio will come in and hit a chopper to first base and we will win. calling it ;)

We had no reason to be so optimistic then...but it looks as if you were right on the money, a700hitter.

7-4. I thought that the Twins were getting unreasonably lucky on their fly balls, even given that the knuckler was kinda a straightball tonight...in hindsight you're right, but I can't second-guess Tito on this one. :dunno:

Nice baserunning. 7-4' date=' right?[/quote']

Yeah, Morgan called two runs by mistake.

Edit: It was Miller. But what's the difference? They're both idiots.

The announcers on crack.

That's an unfair and unkind statement. Just because individuals may be tragic victims of Alzheimer's or severely and profoundly learning disabled, we should not accuse them of contributing to our nation's problems with illegal drug abuse.

7-4. The announcers are incoherent.
