Did a Sox fan not get KILLED during her own teams celebration? That right there tells you how SOME (that night ALL) Sox fans can be ridiculously outrageous and out of control.

This is a horrible example for the sad point you should have never tried to make, not in this thread.

How out of control was that crowd? Murderous? I'd say not. They were unruly and not listening to the direction of police, which promted the use of non-lethal rounds on the crowd. Unfortunately, the non-lethality of those rounds wasn't a sure thing.

A guy lost his life, and you can't get beyond the rivalry enough to condemn her actions without some ******** qualifier. Kind of like how she couldn't quite put things in perspective. What a sad, sad, little boy you are.

Good-looking as Yankees fans go.

26 to 6, ORS is right here. The team of the fan has very little to do with this. Life and death is one thing, and our rivalry here is another. Don't put them in the same boat, buddy.

When did I give her a pass for what she did? It's gorriffic. I thinik I've made my feelings towards this bitch quite clear? What sparked my point about how Sox fans are just as ridiculous, sometimes more, is when 700 said:

I want retribution. Nah, hell I want them all alive and well to witness the dominance of the Red Sox. I'd sentence the bitch to life behind bars with 24/7 NESN in her cell.

As if it were his loved one that was the victim. And saying "THEM ALL" is pitting every single one of us Yankee fans in the same category as that waste of a life murderer. It was completely taken out of context and proportion. You guys need to chill, what this lady did was heinous. No doubt about it. Maybe I was wrong in trying to make that point, fine, but then 700 is wrong for what he said. And ORS, kiss my ass motherf***er. You know nothing about me, my morals, my beliefs, my values, etc.

Are you f***ing serious?

How is what a700hitter said wrong? It was a joke.

You weren't joking, you brought up something that was totally irrelevant.

That's not at all what I said so whatever....

I'm done with this topic it's gotten way too out of hand. My bad...

Werd.

I doubt it would have ended like it did if they were sober. It's stupid that they did it period, but the intoxicated **** probably thought she was f***ing awesome and had to bring it to a whole new level.

f***ing pathetic. s*** I wouldn't go that far over a team arguement. Sure I've gotten in a fight or two but never considered seriously injuring or killing the other person, that's just plain stupid.

Some people just know how to make me crack the f*** up.

I know enough about them to know that you can't say this....

without qualifying it in some way, like this...

In all fairness, more times than not when there is a newsworthy altercation between Yankees and Red Sox fans it's the Sox fan who's the *******.

This quote has no place in this thread.

As for why you posted it in the first place, this goes back to your hyper-defensiveness. Put down the hashpipe, reread what 700 posted, and think about it for a second. He jokingly said he wants retribution, you know, and eye for an eye, kill one of ours, we kill one of yours. Then he goes on to say the revenge would be better if they all had to watch the Sox dominate baseball for a short period. "Them all" in his post does not compare all Yankee fans to this woman. Not to anyone with a shred of intelligence.

lets get something straight

the only person who died the night the sox lost was a coed who got shot in the face from point blank range....by a cop...

the boston riot squad led by Kathleen O'Toole, got her training from the Royal Ulster Constables, famous for their delicate touch in dealing with catholics in belfast..

a f***ing beanbag killed that girl, hit her in the face as she sat on a mailbox minding her business during a celebration....

the only casualty that evening was commited by the boston police.

pay attention to the police reports..

generally when someone gets stomped assaulted or arrested in the high rent districts between 11-3am its a ny kid who has had too much to drink and no idea when to shut the f*** up...further,if it werent for so many desperate ny coeds there are a ton of zit faced kids from somerville who would never get laid....

something about those b/u-long island hose bags thats just wrong

no matter how much you wash and scrub and comb you cant get that gefilte fish stink out of your mind until you get back in the confessional and apologize to the Lord.

How is an eye for an eye fair in this situation though? When 2 Sox fans hospitalize a Yankee fan in Boston do I go around saying "I wanna beat up a Boston fan"? That's just ridiculous. And when I said that in all fairness Sox fans start s*** too, it was in response to 700's statement, not in defense of the ugly chick. You guys took what I said and ran down the field with it...to the other endzone. This s*** is ridiculous, I dont know what to say to please you *******s anymore. I acknowledged I probably shouldn't have tried to make the point, that I went too far, and even actually apologized for what probably seemed very insensitive, althought that was not my intentions. I mean, look at my posts prior to the on following 700's, was I making excuses for her or anything like that then? You guys are just being ridiculous. But when a Sox fan beats up a Yankee fan and I say that I want retribution against all of you, nobody better say s***!

That's still one too many, like in Nashua. But that night there were 16 people injured, 8 arrested, people were setting fires in the streets, throwing trash cans at store-front window, and going absolutely crazy. I guess after 86 years of being losers something like that was expected. But then fast forward to last year after you guys beat Cleveland, there were 26 arrests outside of Fenway. You would think that number would decrease. Some Boston fans are just animals.. (as are some Yankee fans; like the moron skeeze-ball who runs over people for chanting "Yankees Suck")

are you suggesting that a sox based chatroom who's topic is the murder of a defenseless sox fan by a skank yankee douchebag via a motorvehicle is getting heated?

shocking man shocking.

having seen violence in both parks over the past 30 years i think the worm has turned.

boston fans being on the business end of 86 years of misery have been redeemed and now the 1918 chants are only heard in the bronx rarely but from time to time...

sox fans can laugh and roll with the ******** trash talking now that we've put a couple titles in our pocket..

meanwhile ny is now associated with the biggest gag job since deep throat and have gone 0-for the century while falling in the playoffs to lesser teams year in and year out despite spending over 1,000,000,000.00 in that time frame..

arod and his october failures are the things that baseball fans associate with ny these days.

world series sweeps and the best 3/4 hitters in 75 years are what people see when they look at the redsox.

its a new day in the universe and for some people who think that joe pepitone was awesome,a difficult time in their lives.

Who said an eye for an eye is fair? He was joking, and he even toned down his "justice" in the joke. Moreover, his joke didn't pertain to the issue of who starts what more often. You were the one started the conversation on wild tangents to begin with. Regardless of whether or not your intent was to excuse her action, you did qualify what happened here.

Be a man and accept the fact that not everyone is going to like you or accept your opinions without disagreement. You shouldn't worry about saying things to please people, but you should worry about making sense, being reasonable, and having sensible reactions to events and the comments of others. If you are capable of doing those things, the other won't be an issue.

as i said

if you read the police blotter you'd note that most kids that were arrested werent boston natives,in fact id venture to say less than 10% were boston natives.

just spoiled college kids, many from ny,who dont know how to handle alcohol and think that throwing a brick thru a window impresses chicks.

having the pleasure of working in the fenway district for years i have found the 18-24 age group that doesnt work for a living while driving audi's and having an allowance given to them, to be a pain in the ass, regardless of where they come from.

the rage built up inside of them is a simple inability to handle alcohol and interact with the opposite sex due to awkwardness and less to do with ny/boston baseball.

Dude, read the article. Those arrests were for disorderly conduct stemming from making too much noise.

26 out of how many? Did any of these Sox fans kill a Yankee fan?

This time a Cape Cod man beat a man with a baseball bat before proceeding to start hitting the car in which the man's kids were sitting.

Simply because the dude's plates were from New York and he assumed he was a Yankee fan. Ridiculous.

It's interesting that the link has already gone dead. It could just be system maintenance; it could be something regarding the New Jersey paper's fact-checking regarding something from Cape Cod.

I'd be interested to read the story if the link comes back.

It's back!

Your link:

The group accused the vacationer, whose children were in the car, of being a Yankees fan, then beat him and vandalized his car.

Associated Press:

Correia pleaded not guilty to charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious damage to a motor vehicle. He was ordered held without bail until a hearing Wednesday.

During Correia's arraignment Monday, his lawyer, Robert Nolan, said Correia was in his apartment when an altercation erupted between a New York man and one of Correia's friends. Correia picked up a bat and ran outside to break up the fight.

When the man charged Correia, he struck him with the bat, Nolan said.

There are two sides to the story. :dunno:

Man Allegedly Beats Accused Yankees Fan With Bat

Kids Were In Car At Time Of Assault

FALMOUTH (WBZ) ― A group of youths allegedly attacked a dad and his family on the Fourth of July after accusing them of being Yankees fans.

Falmouth police said Robert Correia, 20, and several other young men approached a family in their car, which had New York plates, and began to harass them about being Yankees fans.

According to police, the family was unable to move their car away from the group because they were stuck in post-fireworks traffic. The dad asked the group to go away because his kids were in the car, police said, but the alleged attackers would not leave him alone.

Correia and the group allegedly assaulted the dad with a baseball bat. He sustained a head injury and other injuries as a result of the attack.

The car was also vandalized, police said.

Correia is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction to a motor vehicle. He will be arraigned in Falmouth District Court on Monday
