Fan favorite, Ellsbury is not doing anything to distinguish himself and win the CF job. He has basically been unopposed since the first week of ST with Crisp missing significant time and he has not seized the moment. He is not making the choice of trading Crisp an easy decision.

Ellsbury has yet to start even 2 games in a row during the regular season. And while he did go 0 for 2 last night, he still had 2 walks and an RBI

 

Other than that, its looking like Corey is making the Sox an easy decision on who to DFA on Friday
