He pitches for the Reds and if he stays healthy he is going to be the next Pedro Martinez. He is 5-10 and throws 96-97 consistantly with a devestating changeup. He is only 22 years old, and made his major league debut yesterday going 7 innings giving up 1 hit 1 run, 10k's and no walks. If he stays healthy it should be fun watching this kid in the future.

I was so pissed that he only JUST became available on Yahoo fantasy. I've been checking DAILY to see if they added him to the list of players. Of course they only add him AFTER he debuts with one hit against him.

Yeah, hes sick. And same Yeszir, I missed out on him in all my leagues because he was on waivers after the game, so everyone claimed him.

They added him the day of his start. I placed my waiver claim the morning of his start. I was 12th of 16 on the waiver wire and very surprised I got him.

 

Volquez made his first Reds start today, and he's got similar stuff. All of a sudden, I want to watch 40% of the Reds games.

Cueto has been pretty awfull since his first 2 starts of the year, we'll see if he can turn it around
