Hawk Attacks Girl at Fenway

A red-tailed hawk lost its choice seat behind home plate at Fenway Park today after the raptor scratched a middle school girl on a tour, drawing blood from her scalp.

OK, here's the inside scoop:

 

First, FYI, hawks have excellent hearing...but they do tend to jump to conclusions, and not listen to the whole conversation...

 

Anyway, seems that this girl was talking to a friend and said something to the effect of "I remember when" and used the number "26" in the conversation...

 

and the hawk concluded that she was another whiny Yankee fan living in the past, so it attacked, inflicting a superficial wound, then screached "2004, 2004" at the injured teen.

 

f***in' hawks....blessed with all the tools but just won't listen.
