After an inning, I can say I'm against this whole baseball in Japan thing. This doesn't seem real. It seems like extended spring training. Like an unreal atmosphere.

Hopefully when the team gets back to the states this won't affect them.

I agree, this is a really bad idea. Why do they feel the need to open the regular season in Japan? It doesn't make sense, and if there are repercusions I am going to pissed.

Also, motion to abolish Red Sox Nation as a corporate entity?

Ps: Daisuke, this game counts. It isn't spring anymore!

I liked how earlier they were talking about how each team gets 28 players to choose from, which Steve Phillips claimed was "so the teams aren't at a disadvantage." Umm...we're in freaking Japan, 11 hour flight our however long it is, shorter spring training than everyone, Oakland has two less home games...and somehow its all justified because we get an extra three players to choose from. Seriously, this trip is for money and nothing else.

Allright, well I'm off to go listen to my art teacher pretend she gives a s*** about her class. Hopefully I can talk her into letting us watch the game. Anyway, I guess I'll see everyone same time tomorrow.
