Ryan Braun won in the NL and had this to say about it

 

Braun said he had trouble sleeping Sunday night, then woke up early and went for a jog to ease his "nervous energy."

 

"I had no idea what the vote would be based on," Braun said. "I knew that it would be a close vote."

 

It's kinda refreshing to see someone admit that he cares about winning an award like this as opposed to the typical "individual awards mean nothing to me" attitude

i love dustin. its amazing how he turned it around from what he went through at the beginning of the season. i love the kid, and i love all our young talent. the future is bright.
