  1. exactly....this gives vlad and garrett plenty of days off to rest and DH. i like the move.
  2. the angels are loading up for next yr. theyre lookin good.
  3. yeah as exciting it is to make moves....im with ya, lets just bring the same team back for the most part. i mean, we can trade crisp, let hinske and mirabelli go if we have to, but lets basically just bring back this same squad. why not? best record in baseball with a ton of youngsters waiting in perfect positions ready to come up.
  4. yeah pedroia isnt known as a speedster, i understand all this. im saying from what i see with my own eyes and being an athlete myself, i believe he has adove average speed. really no need in contuining this discussion lol.
  5. yeah i meant that about jacoby....but i do believe pedroia has above avg speed. agree to disagree.
  6. dustin is definitely not slow. just cause he doesnt steal many bases doesnt mean hes slow. he has above avg speed. and i dont believe i ever said he had GREAT speed, if i did...i meant above avg. as far as lugo at short.....if he struggles next season for the 1st couple months....do we bring up lowrie?...considering the success weve had with our prospects.
  7. i like the idea and would do the trade in a heartbeat, however, theres no way minnestoa does this trade. maybe if buchholz replaced lester in that deal they might do it. but lester is just solid right now, youk is good but not great, crisp sucks, and lowrie is unproven.
  8. STEROOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDS
  9. i dunno guys, i kinda like the ellsbury/pedrio duo at the top like we had in colorado. those guys are always puttin the ball in play and have great speed. but then again, youk is the prototypical 2 hitter, minus speed. ya cant go wrong because we have a great lineup, but i think jacoby and pedroia would give so many teams fits at the top.
  10. i wouldnt mind laird for a backup and possibly the future at catcher for us. i know hes struggles with the bat but he does have some pop. but can he catch the knuckleball???
  11. blalock isnt a bench guy yet. he has struggled a bit over the past couple yrs but i think thats mainly due to injuies. hes awful against lefties however. but i still think he can be a solid 3bman in his career. i dont see him being a bench guy at this pt.
  12. yeah it seems like he likes the big stage based on past performances with chicago. if the price is right why not take a shot on him? i like it, go for him.
  13. sweet, preciate it
