I was thinking the same thing...if we could piece together 3 innings of relief work tonight, this is a definite possibility

That would be correct. He has had one 5 out save, and thats the extent of it

I had a guy that works at my school whos a huge Red Sox fan, say he thought Beckett would go 5, and no more so he couuld be able to pitch in Game 7. It's very possible that, that will happen. We'll see, I would do it.

Can't risk it here. Beckett has to hand the ball to papelbon for hopefully only 1 inning. We can pray for rain on Saturday or Sunday so he can pitch game 7 on 3 days rest.
