Why the hell did Tek call for that high fastball on Garko with 2 strikes? As ORS has said before, that pitch is Tek's Kryptonite so he thinks no one else can hit it. Garko was having trouble with the ball down in the zone and he's such a slow guy. He was a DP waiting to happen on a splitter.

I don't know if that was the wrong pitch to throw to Garko. The result was close to what they wanted, unfortunately the Baltimore chop made it through the infield.

With Perez getting loose, you have to figure Carmona is done if Pedroia and Youks reach. That would be huge. Run their starter in the 4th and make them use Perez that early.
