EDIT: On September 15, they had a .512 Winning Percentage, were 6 1/2 games back of the DBacks and in 4th place. Their elimination number (opposite of magic number) was less than the Cardinals. How far they have come.

Yeah but the ratings will suffer. People will be missing two exciting teams and an exciting series. Oh well!

You and I are fanatics so we will watch. The networks need to get the casual fan for the playoffs. Your John Doe on the street could not naqme 3 players on both teams. There is nothing compelling about either team for the casual fan.

If only the Braves were still in Boston and the Dodgers had never left....we'd have BOS/NY LCS in both leagues to boost ratings.
