well considering we didn't get the bat on the ball after lugo it wouldn't have mattered...not to mention lugo's speed scores on just about any base hit so why give up an out

Without a doubt. And it happens entirely too often with this lineup. Which is why I would suggest moving Lugo to third. 2004 or 2005 it's not even an issue...

I am probably in the minority here but if papi can have surgery and be back by mid september i would do it. He can rest his shoulder and be good to go........it's worth the sacrifice to chance getting the old papi back
