couldnt have said it better myself, Manny and Ortiz have been our power and RBI guys and lets face it they have been a disappointment this season in those categories.

I know that, and I like Masterson. He's a good looking prospect. But when you have your top two at age 26, probably the best pitching prospect in the minors who will be ready next year, a LHP who looks like a safe bet to settle in as a solid back of the rotation pitcher, and a need for a bat to improve your chances in a no doubt GFIN year, then he's expendable.

They have been enormous disappointments. Manny has been as much a disappointment as Drew, IMO. Sure, his numbers are better and he's taking the field more, but I'd say the magnitude of underperformance is just as big relative to what was expected.
