Didn't see it. But for the month of July, Gabbard's stats are crazy. Counting the two innings tonight, he's pitched 30 innings, given up just 12 hits and 6 runs.

I like gabbard, but I have a really hard time believing this is for real. Guys don't just suddenly become an 89mph Sandy Koufax without warning.

That said, I think this sox team has room for a Gabbard, and certainly in the years to come they will still need a #5 Wakefield type pitcher who can eat innings and give a solid performance each time out.
