Biggio passed 3000 hits. Sosa hit his 600th bomb and steroids or no steroids, bonds is going to pass 755. Griffey is 15 away from 600 and so far has 22 just in the first half. Manny and A-rod should both surpass 500 homers. Clemens was the first pitcher to get 350 since Spahn. Glavine should win his 300th.

 

Has any of this stuff ever happened in the same season before? I don't think anyone has passed 599 HR's in the same season before considering there are only four players to do so and all played in different era's.

 

Could this be the most historically significant season to date? This is incredible...

Quite possibly. Randy Johnson is 16 away, but he might not pitch again. Mussina has 50+ wins left, but he's 38. David Wells and Jamie Moyer are next on the list, but they're obviously not going to make it.
