I was just thinking that...he doesn't even look half as confident stepping into the box as he used to. It used to look like he was getting in there with the "go ahead, lemme see your best...I'm an idiot, but you know I'm going to hit you"...he lacks that swagger now. If the Sox are going to go deep into October, he's gotta get it back.

 

Part of me hopes that he doesn't get selected for the All-Star team and can take the time off to clear his head and get back to "being Manny"...Jesus, common...request a freaking trade and hit some freaking homeruns. What's wrong with you?!?

I've seen a ton of pitches that look like Manny should either turn on or spank...and he fouls them off. I don't know what's wrong with him, but he just doesn't look the same at all. He had absolutely no chance against Putz last night. Granted, Putz is a great pitcher, but Manny always at least puts up a fight. He looked foolish last night.
