OK, i changed it up a bit, and this is my final plan if i were Danny Ainge....

 

TRADE—5th pick, Theo Ratliff, Delonte West and Gerald Green for Andrei Kirilenko and 25th pick

 

25th pick—Sean Williams (upside to be the best defensive player in the draft, has some offensive potential to. a steal wherever he goes)

32nd pick—Gabe Pruitt (good scoring point guard, who in his last year at USC also turned into a good distributor. had good tourney)

 

 

Rondo/Pruitt/Ray/Telfair

Pierce/West

Kirilenko/Wally

Gomes/Williams/Powe

Jefferson/Perk

 

 

 

 

 

you really think he's gone? I dont see Phoenix trading him unless they can get a big name player. Maybe if they can move up in the draft they move him.

 

What would it take to get him? Wally/Ratliff, West/Allen, Green and the 5th pick?

 

Yeah. I think he's gone...ONLY for KG. Everything, lines up. KG's got the versatility and then some, of what we would lose from Shawn leaving. He also wants to come here, Phoenix is his first choice. Also, it's been talked about for awhile that Shawn will either be gone after this upcoming season, or he would be traded before it to get value for him. The reason that this has been a strong possibility is because Rovert Sarver doesn't want to go over the damn cap. So...I've slowly prepared myself for this, but I won't be totally sad if KG strolls to town. If we trade Marion for anyone but KG, I will go to a car decal shop and have them make me letters in BRIGHT orange font that say "Fire Kerr" and put it on my Explorer. Possibly something about Sarver too.

 

I will also do that if we trade Amare AT ALL.

KJR-AM radio (Seatlle) reported that the Sonics offered Ray Allen to the Boston Celtics for the fifth pick and Theo Ratliff

 

Celtics turned it down...

 

EDIT: Chad Ford confirmed this rumor, and says the Celtics arent biting.

 

Please tell me im not the only one who thinks the Celtics need to jump on this deal

Doesn't Theo have a huge contract as well? Anyways the Celtics have to take this deal. The would be very stupid not to. I mean a lineup of Jefferson, Gomes, Pierce, Allen, Rondo/West would be a very competative team in the Eastern conference. I could see that team winning 45-50 games very easily.

You think trading Wally Sczerbiak for Ray Allen is a problem? I would go CRAZY if I was the Celtics brass and Seattle wanted to give me Ray Allen for the 5th pick and a few scrubs. Ray Allen instantly makes me a better team, even with Pierce and Allen being players who need the ball alot.

I think he means that for the salaries to match up, Sczcerbiak would have to be dealt, not Ratliff.
