Ive had about six jobs since Outback...never changed my profile until I updated it after being made a supermod. Im the manager at a Subway now' date=' and I work two nights a week third shift stocking at Stop and Shop. With Ami's job as a manager at her store, were doing really well right now.[/quote']

Nice. I've been meaning to ask but I guess I just assumed since your profile said Outback. I was like "who needs a Bloomin' Onion at 8 am?"

When I worked there I had to be in at 9 most days to supervise prep, cleaning and do paperwork and s***, soooo...

Being a manager sucks sometimes. Subway doesnt open till ten and I still have to be there at 7:30.

Not me...but I wouldn't hate some Coconut Shrimp and a bowl of Creamy Onion soup.

Yea, I guess I just wasn't thinking haha. I worked at an Uno's last summer and the managers were always in bright and early.

So much for resting people today.

I know. We're all complaining about work and such tomorrow. The sox have to work tomorrow too, after a 5 hour overnight flight, a late game two nights ago, and this pile of s*** tonight. Man I hope we don't collapse.

What a waste. Whatever. At least the Yanks lost.

When you can stay in a game like this after 32951245791423 mistakes and terrible relief pitching, you can't expect to stay in it long.

Get them tomorrow. Hopefully Dice-K gives a long outing to rest our relievers' wings.

However miserable you're going to feel tomorrow, its NOTHING compared to the day after Boone's 03 walkoff. THAT was the day from hell.

And what sucks is that I completely anticipated it. I couldn't even sleep.

Season is starting to slip away. Lost 4-5

Are you really being serious? Did you really expect the Sox to win games at a .700 clip all season long? You do know that teams go through funks no matter how good they are, right?

And you do remember that we're still 12.5 up in the division with the Yankees still playing like s***, right?

The fact that the game was soooo close is good news. We had NO right winning this. We JT, a sub 5 starter against the best pitcher in the AL (maybe MLb). I'm not reading to much into this loss. A tired team with the best 2 relievers not available and we came that close. I don't think our season is slipping away.

Wasn't serious lol. To me this loss was nothing. Arods hr was the 1 that got to me.

Look. The Sox can now go back to the hotel, rest up for tomorrow, and come out strong for the game tomorrow night. For someone to say that the season is slipping away after losing 4 of the last 5 games while still holding the best record in baseball and being up 12.5 games on the Yankees is asinine to say the least.

EDIT: My bad. He said he was kidding.

The A-Rod homer bothered me, but when I looked at the standings I felt a little better. For whatever reason the Sox can't beat the Yanks right now in a 7-game series. They can play well against any other team and that's what's going to count as the season carries on.

Hopefully, if we're lucky, we won't even have to worry about the Yankees in a 7-game series.

Glad I slept through this one last night, thank you god for this sore throat. I was reading through the box score and saw "Ortiz doubled to center, Pedroia out at home". Naturally I checked the playon mlb.com... all I can say is wow. He was out before he was halfway to home. Kotsay relayed the ball quickly (always known for one hell of an arm) and Pedroia really isnt that light on his feet. Hale was the bum of the game
