My first Gamethread of the season.

Boston (34-15) vs. Cleveland (31-17), Monday, 7:05 p.m. ET

BOS: RHP Curt Schilling (4-2, 3.94 ERA)

Schilling is 1-2 with a 4.40 ERA in six career games (four starts) against the Guardians. He is facing Cleveland for the first time this season. Last year, he gave up five runs on nine hits and struck out eight in 6 2/3 innings in an April 25 start at Jacobs Field, but had a no-decision in Boston's 8-6 win.

CLE: LHP Cliff Lee (2-1, 5.93 ERA)

Lee is coming off an 11-7 loss to Kansas City in which he gave up seven runs in the first two innings. He allowed a season-high eight runs in 4 1/3 innings in that loss to the Royals, his fifth start of the season. Lee is 2-1 with a 3.45 ERA in five career starts against Boston.

Ill leave the mojo up to the experts. All I have to say is Schilling...step the f*** up and pitch like you know you can, you son of a bitch.

I just looked through this seasons Gamethreads. The Sox have only lost three series all year: 2 of 3 to Texas, 2 of 3 to New York, and 2 of 2 to Toronto.

All three series' Gamethreads werent started by the same person. Everytime they are, we win the series.

here we go, the 2 top teams in the AL. this is gonna be a real test , the Guardians are 17-4 at home , however I like our chance with the pitching match ups this series

EDIT : i just realized that the game is at fenway , so nevermind about the Guardians being 17-4 at home

Ask the mojo experts, I dont know. I just havent done one yet this season, sooo.

Youk you son of a bitch! WHY DIDN'T YOU LET THE MOJO CONTINUE????

I kid. :) I guess if we win tonight EvilDonut can continue his streak tomorrow if he wants to. No big deal. The Sox are doing so well that they'll win anyway.

However, if they lose, I CALL DIBS ON TOMORROW :)

Ortiz is out for a 2nd straight day' date=' Wily Mo at DH. Its a combination of dehydration and his hammy giving him trouble. Returning tomorrow is possible[/quote']

actually they'll have ramirez as DH and WMP in left

Posted
Eh, it only continues if they pull out a win. The mojo is destroyed completely...

Or we could just say ED gets tomorrow, win or lose.

Haha it doesn't matter to me either way.

Pena goes yard tonight.

Why is WMP in left? Why not DH him and put Manny in left where he belongs?

GAHHH TITO what the hell.

It's because you started the game thread, *******.
