Cameras showed him apparently rubbing his stomach at one point. He appears to be sick.

 

Dice-K went five innings and allowed seven hits and five runs. He threw 85 pitches.

Not that I'm a huge fan of the usage, there are decent reasons for him to be used.

 

1. Other than the doubleheader, he hasn't pitched much lately.

2. If he has a quick inning, he's available tomorrow.

3. Tito wants the win in a place where the Sox have usually struggled and since he knows the pitching matchups aren't favorable the rest of the weekend, he wants this one win.
