Sox improve their lead over NY back to 10 1/2

 

Dice-K's record now stands at 7-2. Sox are first team in baseball with two 7 game winners. He had a stomach illness plus he had to wait 2 hours fro the rain delay and wait more as his offense made the Ranghers pitching staff work hard. He'll bounce back against the Guardians next time around

 

The offense did more than enough to back up Dice, and the bullpen made sure there would be no comebacks. No errors i see for the Sox as well

funny how Dice-K's season is sort of following the same path as Beckett's year last season. Good win-loss record, high ERA that's misleading due to bad innings being really bad while having plenty of good starts. All part of the transition to American league ball I guess

Ferrell said after the game that Dice-K was dry heaving on the mound at times and he rushed into the club house to vomit after the 2nd inning. Pitching when he is vomiting. What a man.

I missed the game, had a High School game tonight. Pleased to know i get to go tomorrow though.

That just shows you the competitor in him. He wants to play no matter what. The guy might not have his best stuff on some nights but hes a gamer and finds ways to make it threw. Nice "Man Up" moment for Dice-K:thumbsup:
