Wow, the one redeeming quality about Hansack is command of the strikezone. Not today.

This is the first guy off the bench if one of our starters go down?

You mean the guy who just struck out that Hall of Famer?

Small sample sizes are fun!

Hansack seems to have great movement on his pitches' date=' if he could learn to locate his pitches well, he could be a great reliever.[/quote']

I think this is probably a fluke. His MO is command, and the numbers show that this is probably true.

Wow the paper airplane gets a standing O in toronto....just sad!

Some have dumped on signing him, but JC has been an asset to the team thus far. I like him in that situational lefty role.

Orsillo's paper airplane made my day. It was the ugliest plane I've ever seen and it just kind of flopped into the empty seat below. The fans that were sitting behind it were cracking up, lol. That was awesome.

romero and his 1.71WHIP? It shows he gets bailed out of a lot of jams after he gets pulled.

*Insert comment about Rivera's 8+ ERA here*

Entering today, a 1.20 against lefties. Leaving him as the situational lefty is good for the Sox. Ahem is this your best bash on the Sox bullpen?

I'm not saying Rivera is playing well right now.

How much was Romero's WHIP exaggerated by the Texas game?

Please, tell me.

I was cracking up laughing. Sometimes they can help you get by when a game is really dragging on. I miss the fights between Jerry and that Devil Ray mascot

Assuming Hansack's control problem today is not the norm' date=' he just doesn't throw very hard. I am unimpressed with his velocity.[/quote']

Neither does Tim Wakefield.
