Good game. Beckett gets his 6th win of the year, the offense was productive, the bullpen was good. Oakland played pretty poorly too. They gave us at least 1 run.

Mike Piazza has a sprained shoulder, out for at least 4-6 weeks

 

No love for Langerhans, he's traded to the Washington Nationals for outfielder Chris Snelling

Snelling seems like hes going to be good. NOt great, but in the long run, solid.

Loving what were seeing from Beckett early on this year. Right now he is a beast and cannot be beat 6-0 to start the season. Good job by the bats tonight to get some runs off the Oakland pitchers thought they came out and had a strong game. Gonna be good to see Dice-K going for Boston tmrw night in that makeup game against Seattle hopefully the Sox can win that one too and continue their lead in the A.L East.
