BTW, Cabrera dictates this game. If he is on, he is as good as any pitcher in the league and nobody hits him. When he is off (which is about 70% of the time) he is out in the 5th having walked 9 and K'd 9 and you have a field day. Chances are, he is off.

Upside:

-Ace on the Hill

-Facing a Pitcher we Eat up on

-Have Steam to Blow after Home Sweep

Downside:

-NOT at home

-No momentum

I think we'll pull off the win.

and he is a year older. This is the Schilling you will see this yr. One where he will be very good in stretches and then get hit in stretches. Think about it. In 04 when he came over, he would sit 92 and reach back for a 95-96 when he needed it. Now he is sitting 90-91 and reaching back to get 93 when he needs it. The difference isnt all that much numerically, but it is the difference between getting by with a popup and giving up a homerun. He is adapting and he should have a good line by the end of the yr. But like I said, he starts the yr as your ace, but he wont end it that way. DiceK will be the starting pitcher for your first playoff game (if you make it of course) this yr unless the battle for the playoffs comes down to the last weekend.

Didn't we have ALL the momentum when we played Toronto these last two games?

Remind me how momentum works again??

you ran into a team that owns you for the most part. The Orioles are a team that you own.

To be honest with you, I have a feeling that the O's take tonight's meeting. Tomorrow, you'll be locked in a tight one, but Papi will hit a late homer and Paps will close it out. I call split.

Now, you will go to sleep or I will put you to sleep. Check out the name tag. You're in my world now, grandma.

Everyone chill and just keep the faith. You never know what can happen at today's game.

I have a good feeling we'll take the win. I agree with Animal's predictions.

Jacko, Cabrera is a completely different beast when he pitches against New York than he does with Boston. 8 starts vs New York, including an almost no-hitter last year, he has compiled a 3.94 ERA. As for Boston... well look down below at that pretty career stat. They know how to make him work (32 walks in 33 innings in 8 starts).

EDIT: Coco Crisp is out for a 4th straight game, he will also miss tomorrow. The Dl is looking more possible
