I'd be wary. This happens every yr. Then after the AS break' date=' he disappears. Maybe he gets overworked.[/quote']

This is the first year since 2004 that he's really started off hot. Last year he started off at 2 HRs/12 RBIs, in 2005 he just mustered up 2 HRs/8 RBIs. Im well aware that he tends to have a 2nd half swoon, just pointing out where he's at now

This isn't true though. He plays to his career averages in July and Sept, but below average in August. Sure, that brings the aggregate number down, but it doesn't agree with the notion he "disappears" in the second half. For reasons I can even begin to explain, he has bad Augusts, but he rights himself.

Great win for the boys tonight. Schilling goes 7 strong innings, to Jacko's dismay, and improves to 3-1 on the season. This gives him 210 career wins, and he is 3 away from his 50th career win as a Red Sox.

Tha bats came out and were able to feast on part of the bullpen the O's spent their offseason money on. Manny inches closer to his 1000th career hit as a Red Sox. Kudos to Cora's big game, this one with a homerun! The defense rebounded from last night's debacle

Tomorrow beckett looks to become the first 5 game winner in baseball. He is opposed by Yankee killer Adam Loewen who is 0-1 lifetime (3 career appearances) vs Boston with a 9.00 ERA

In other news' date=' Lost was a mindf*** and a half. Back to its old form.[/quote']

Word. I think the Others made a decoy plane crash so people would stop looking.

EDIT: And a great win by the Sox.

With Coco still out' date=' WMP might soon be hitting bellow .100[/quote']

Ted, it was a good win and we got great pitching and righted our ship. Hopefully it will continue for the next few games as well, but Pena has got to go. It now has to be evident to everyone with a pair of eyes that this guy is an albatross around our necks My stars, what's it going to take for Theo and Francona to get this guy out of the lineup. Do you know that if he gets 300 AB's this year he could actually strike out 200 times?

The problem is David Murphy is having another s***** start over in Pawtucket and I guess that might be a reason why he hasn't been called up, but at least he gets the bat on the ball and isn't a sure thing to strike out with the bases loaded. Just grateful we won, though, but I would like to know what the hell is up with Coco Crisp. How injured is he? When is he coming back?

even if Murphy was having a good start, how do you make room for him on the roster? Unless they trade WMP or Coco, they aren't gonna DFA either of them
