Tito wants to thow this game away' date=' Romero up until the Arod hit (shocker) held righties to a .462 avg[/quote']

Didn't someone tell Francona that Romero has never pitched worth a s*** against the Yankees? Then again, after we pissed away a rally last inning (thanks Pena, again), maybe he has decided to throw in the towel. This is very very disgusting. Yes, A-Rod is on fire and we are going to have to face facts----he may finally have found his comfort zone with the Yankees. Once again, we have to score more runs or we might get swept.

Now we have Snyder in. This game is in the crapper. The question is, can we do a redux as we did at Toronto?

a cold pena is a bad but the move is proper down 3

fukin arod is hotter than anyone ive ever seen come outta the gate

do it now alex get it outta your system

if petey was here arod wouldve been dusted leading off the 2nd inning and arod wouldve known it was coming the minute youk got hit

lots of time to think about which hospital he wouldve gone for xrays..

we lost a ton of swagger when petey left

Damn that Pena. If it weren't for him Lugo and Youk would have hit back to back grand slams.

Simply put, if you really thought Pena was going to come through in that situation you are on the crack pipe. Psycholgically we were spent after that strikeout; nothing like one to blunt a rally. And if you expect Pena to come through with a big hit with a game on the line you are not only a fool but a damned dumb one as well.

lol. It was the right call. Unless you wanted Hinske to face a lefty' date=' which isnt the best idea.[/quote']

When a game is on the line, ANYONE is better than Pena, lefty or not. I can remember only one time last year when Wily Mo got a hit that made a difference in a ball game. He is as s***** in the clutch as they come. Just off speed him and he is a dead as Mrs O'Leary's cow.

fred, you have to read a situation. In that situation, you needed to play for the long ball. Your best chance, no matter how slight, was Pena.

Nothing makes me laugh as much your codgerly rants. I can just hear the Burger King voice in my head, "And, we had to work all month just to make ONE BISCUIT." Good times.

I'm waiting for Kruk to offer to blow The Fraud at any time. Ok...yeah...dude's having a great April. And, there is no doubt he is an amazing robot baseball player. Like that Twilight Zone episode. Playing to the contract. Having fake conversations w/ the nonplussed teammates who obviously can't stand the guy. Smiling. Pretending to have a personality.

But this unabashed coronation is absolutely sickening. blech. STFU. It's April. I hope he hits 100 home runs. And wins the MVP....because gosh darn it...people like him.

I'd leave Myers in to face Manny. He's got a reverse split the last couple of years. Every righty in the 'pen throws gas, and that's what Manny likes.
