The return of Josh Hamilton

I'm sure many have read about him by now. Josh Hamilton has returned to Major League Baseball after a long stint away from the game while dealing with alcohol and drug addiction.

 

On a personal note I got a chance to meet Josh back in 1999 and he was a very well spoken and polite kid. My heart really went out to him when I began reading about his struggles that eventually would lead to his suspension from MLB.

 

I can remember back when he first came out...he was going to be amazing. All the talent in the world and was as close to a "can't miss" prospect as they come. This is a great story and I hope his difficult journey will inspire others. I'll cheer every time he comes to the plate.

Hamilton is awesome, I hope the best for him and the Reds... I really didn't pay attention to the Reds before but as soon as Arroyo went there and then Gonzo, I've become more and more interested in the team, especially with Griffey Jr. on the team who's one of my all-time favorites... then Hamilton comes along and I hear some of his story and he is just dominating right now, its great, it really is... I wish i could watch some of there games...

Luckily I have him on my fantasy teams haha!

No draft in my league I play in sportingnews . I like the guy I also met him once hes really cool grounded guy glad to see him do good .

No met him in spring training this year . Really seemed like he was just excited to be there found it wierd how grounded he was after all the s*** hes been through .
