NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

there goes my fantasy team.

He wasn't going to keep it up the whole year. He probably would have/still will put up great numbers.

Is King Felix really the crux of your fantasy team? That's too bad.

From what I saw' date=' it was hard to tell if it was his arm or legs that was the problem.[/quote']

they said precautionary, tightness in elbow.

3 ER in 17 1/3 IP for an ERA of 1.56. Not bad.

Is it enough to put him on the DL?

he isnt the crux, but my rotation is a huge part of my scoring in head to head. He was my first pitcher selected, 3rd round in most drafts and was a keeper in my keeper league.

It must have been a pretty interesting game... Your ace goes down in 1st, losing 5-0, now you're pretty scared shitless because of everything that has happened, but then you come back... and you're about a couple feet from tying the game with it all on the line... but then you lose  ...

Pronator Teres strain. Good news for Felix.

The Mariners are saying Felix Hernandez will likely miss two to three starts with a flexor-pronator strain inside his right, pitching elbow and forearm.

Hernandez won't throw at all for five days, and then will play only catch initially. "I think 10 to 20 days is a reasonable estimate," Mariners medical director Dr. Ed Khalfayan said when asked when Hernandez might again pitch in a game. "That's as good a news as you can get from an elbow injury." Hernandez will likely go on the DL, putting Jake Woods into the Seattle rotation. The possibility still exists that the injury is worse than the Mariners currently believe. Apr. 19 - 6:48 pm et

All the oohing and ahhing that has been done about this kid needs to be put in check a bit. People have likening him to Pedro's stuff but with a better body-type. That's blasphemy to me. The kid has a great arm, and I'll reserve judgment for a couple of years to see how hie develops before I put him anywhere near Pedro's class. The body-type thing with pitchers is just so much hooey. He's down with an elbow strain already. The truth with pitchers is that you never know when they will go down. Big guys go down just as much as little guys. I laugh when people compare anyone to Pedro, even a Santana. Pedro's unconscious years from 98-2000 were like something from an alien planet, but look at his career k's/9, WHIP, hits/9, LG ADj ERA, and Winning % and see where he ranks on the all time list. Few, very few, in the history of the game compare to the man. In the future, when a a stud prospect has a lot of promise like king Felix, let's compare him to someone more realistic... like Ben Sheets or Schmidt. Pedro is reserved for comparisons to stars like Johan and Halladay.

even Santana and Halladay arent on the same level as Pedro Martinez in his prime years, which really shows how dominant Pedro really was.
